    Our most popular service, designed to have your bike running well for the season ahead- recommended service interval 6-12 months

    Everything from the bicycle MOT plus:

     Bottom bracket checked for wear adjusted if necessary 

     Brake callipers removed, cleaned and re-greased as required

     Drivechain removed, cleaned as required 

    Wheels checked over, spokes checked for damage and tension

     Wheels removed and trued, bearings removed and cleaned or replaced

    Headset & bottom bracket removed, cleaned and re-lubricated or replaced

Hourly labour rate £80

-Bike Inspection charge £20 (included as part of a service, charged if work is not carried out)
 Visual safety inspection, Drivetrain inspected for wear, Brake wear visually checked, tyres inflated, Inspection finding noted.

-Base Service from £75 + add ons and/or parts
Gear indexing adjusted, Brakes aligned/adjusted, basic wheel true, chain cleaned/lubricated, mech hanger alignment checked, mech pivot points lubricated, 
tyres inflated, wheel/bottom bracket/headset bearings inspected for wear, frame bearings checked for wear, full bike bolt checked, test ride to finish. 

-Cargo bikes/longtail service rate £100
-Software updates - only applicable on ebikes using Bosch, Shimano, tq, Hyena, Mahle (£20 or included in basic service rate) 

Individual jobs  (All 20% cheaper if applied to service)               
-System Brake bleed  £30 per brake (Full system flush, inc cleaning and lubrication of caliper pistons)
-Inner tube replacement wheel only £15, On bike from £20. Both plus inner tube.
-Fit Tubeless tyre from £25 inc sealant, if tape required extra £5, if valve required from £8
-Tubeless top up £15 inc sealant (Specific sealant on request)
-Bar tape replacement £20+ tape 
-Frame bearing replacement, from £160+parts

Servicing Information

Regular maintenance is key to keeping your bike safe and reliable. We offer full repair and service facilities, with Cytech-qualified mechanics experts in working on most bike brands. 

We offer different service levels depending on your usage:

- For occasional riders, our Bicycle MOT might be sufficient. 

- A Full Service is our most popular option and aimed at those riding more frequently. 

                                     Suggested services interval 6-12 months

- For those seeking marginal gains, high-mileage riders, or anyone wanting the most thorough check, our Ultimate Service is ideal. It offers comprehensive care. 

  • Please note that the starting price for e-bikes is £25 above the service prices below

Regular servicing can save you money by addressing small issues early such as replacing a worn chain, which helps preserve the life of your chainrings and cassette, preventing more costly repairs down the line.

E-bikes

We specialise in e-bike repairs and servicing for Bosch, Hyena,Shimano, TQ, battery and motor systems, including performing software updates. We also service bikes with Yamaha systems but can only provide mechanical repairs, not electronic updates.

Please note, we are unable to work on e-bikes that have been de-restricted, and we can’t service e-bike systems outside of these brands.

Service Process

- Workshop rate: £80/hour, though most jobs are quick, however we have a minimum workshop charge of £15

 - We’ll provide a verbal estimate before starting and only proceed with work agreed upon and call you for permission if extra or unforeseen issues arise

 - You’ll only be charged for the time spent and necessary work—no rounding up or unnecessary fees.
